Papers relating to porcelain and glassware, ca. 1940-1976.

Miscellaneous collection of offprints, catalogues and copies of photographs, with occasional correspondence and notes of objects sold at auction. The papers are particularly useful for documenting private collections, including those of Cecil Higgins and J. Francis Mallett. Major subjects include English porcelain, pottery by Thomas Toft, armorial Worcester porcelain, apothecary jars, and Bristol, Chelsea and English Delft ware. Special files are devoted to Kiddell's research and lectures on the subject of fakes and forgeries.
